Our challenge:
- Application of self-adhesive mats to the vehicle body shell (e.g. insulation mats to the interior door trim, hood, trunk lid)
- Flexible design → individual requirements (e.g. free design or choice of mat dimensions)
Solution:
- Automated mat application systems
- Picking up the mat from the cardbox using a gripper
- Removing the film from the mat
- Checking the removal of the film
- Applying the mat
- Positioning check of the mat on the component
- Automated mat availability control in the box
- Possible individual specification of the required parameters (suction pressure, cycling, camera control)
- Compatibility with corresponding commercially available robots
- Flexible robot connection (Standard Profinet)
Features:
- Single gripper (robot head) incl. camera for various mat variants
- Gripper with integrated vacuum control to prevent loss of components + optimized control behavior to reduce air consumption costs
- Feeding station for insulation mats (sluice gate)
- Unit for removing the lining (foil removal)
- Available as a stand-alone system or as an independent system with separate control
- Operation via HMI
- Commissioning and training by NIMAK staff possible
Technical data:
- Connection voltage: 400-480 V
- Air supply: 6 bar
- Operating system: Windows-10 based (actually)
Requirements:
Cell size 4,5m x 4,5m (depending on the component)
